Canada Life retirement funds are investment solutions that help manage risks unique to those nearing and entering their retirement years.

The funds help protect savings from inflation and market volatility while allowing savings to grow.

Employees can align their investment personality to 1 of 3 fund choices: conservative, moderate or balanced.

Each Canada Life retirement fund brings together a powerful mix of investment styles, strategies and asset allocation. These include investments in traditional securities – like equities and fixed income – alternative investments and strategies and a specialized risk reduction pool.

The funds aim to guard against inflation over the long-term by using real estate markets, value and income equities, and real return bonds.

To help reduce the effects of market volatility over the long-term, the funds use low-volatility and defensive equity income allocations with a specialized risk-reduction pool. By giving up some market growth opportunities in rising markets, employees may gain protection from extreme market drops.

Lastly, with traditional equities, the funds are positioned for growth.

Talk to your Canada Life group representative or group advisor to learn more about the funds and how you can offer them to your employees.

Canada Life retirement funds are available through a group variable annuity policy issued by The Canada Life Assurance Company.
