Do you have life insurance through your employer that you would like to convert to an individual policy?

You may be able to convert your group life insurance coverage to an individual policy if your coverage is reduced or terminated due to an employment status change or having attained a certain age.

Individual health insurance is coverage that’s purchased on an individual or family basis, as opposed to being offered by an employer.

Yes, you can, but the conversion process wouldn’t start until you’ve left your job regardless of the situation.

In most cases, the conversion process must take place within the first 31 days after the reduction or loss of your group coverage and before the age of 65.

Converting your group life coverage to an individual policy can be an ideal option for those who have pre-existing medical conditions and may otherwise not qualify for life insurance coverage.

You can speak with a member of our health and wealth consultant team so we can understand your specific need.

Please complete the form if your coverage was reduced/terminated or scheduled to be reduced/terminated in the next 30 days.
