In my mind, as well as the minds of my clients, I instill the importance of the strength of an insurer.

Selling and marketing products is easy, but paying claims is the reason why we are all here. Knowing that Canada Life has been around for over 170 years, gives clients the assurance that it will very likely be around to pay claims in the future.

Also, having a broad and flexible product shelf helps sway clients to Canada Life. For example, many times, clients add a term rider to a whole life insurance plan. Knowing that the rider can be converted to a full array of products, including another term, universal life, limited pay universal life, and multiple participating options, leaves many doors open for the future.

Additionally, the people at Canada Life are first class, from regular interaction with the underwriters, to the inside sales reps on the streets, it seems easy to do busy with Canada Life.

Is there a specific value add that Canada Life offers that stands out?

No doubt the pandemic has changed the way we all do business. From nearly instant approved online applications, to submitting paper via the Insurance Courier Service, , Canada Life is open for business. When I thought that online applications were likely the last change that Canada Life was introducing to make it easier to place business, along came the Canada Life My Term option. (I just got a client approval today for a 27-year term!)
