Donations to be made in Vonn Choneyko and Lincoln Honoway’s name
Regina, SK, January 2, 2020... Two local Canadian Blood Services recipients will take a shot to help save a life at the Regina Pats game on Sunday, Jan. 5.
As the game’s presenting sponsor, Canada Life will invite 10-year-old Vonn Choneyko and seven-year-old Lincoln Honoway to shoot for the chance to have a $500 donation made to Canadian Blood Services in each of their names.
- Vonn ChoneykoOpens a new website in a new window - Opens in a new window received a stem cell transplant last summer after being diagnosed with Fanconi Anemia (FA) in 2015, a rare DNA-repair disease that could lead to bone marrow failure, leukemia, and/or solid tumors.
- Lincoln Honoway received a stem cell transplant in at the age of four after being diagnosed with a sever case of Aplastic Anemia, a condition that occurs when the body stops producing enough new blood cells.
