The following plan features come with the policy.
Partial Disability Benefits
Partial disability benefits are designed for those who become disabled, but able to work part-time or in a reduced capacity. These benefits can contribute to your financial security by helping to close the gap between what you were earning before becoming disabled and what you are able to earn while partially disabled.
Hospitalization
The waiting period will be waived if the disability is caused by injury and results in hospitalization for a minimum period of 48 consecutive hours.
Presumptive Disability Benefits
Presumptive disability means you suffer complete and irrecoverable loss of eyesight, hearing, speech or loss of use of 2 limbs. Full disability benefits will be paid immediately and continue to age 65.
Recurrent Disability
Your benefits may resume immediately if the same or a related disability recurs within 6 months.
Waiver of Premium
We will waive all premium that comes due while benefits are payable.
